Welcome to L & H Showpigs. We are a family ran farm that started in 2003. We have 25 sows and own or are in partnership with several boars bred by some of the coutries top breeders.
We farrow pigs twice a year. we bred pigs with one thing in mind, helping you get to the winners circle. Please call us if we can help with your next project. We raise belted crosses, white crosses, durocs, and a few yorks. Hope to hear from you soon.
We have had a great start to the 2012 show season. We had placing barrows in San Antonio and in Houston. We also had several breed and res. breed champions as well as champions and res champions overall at several county shows across the state. Congrats to all those who showed pigs from us these past few months. Pigs are on the ground and they are looking great. The Papi Grande pigs are looking like we hoped they would Great. The Double up and the White Lighten pigs are doing awesome as well. We are in the process of breeding for the summer litters and expect great things. We have purchased a great Super Lucky son from Triple B Sires that we call Super 3, he is one that we feel will make great show barrows come this summer. Also we have a Frankenstein son that is growing like we hoped and has that upheaded cocky attitude, big bone, great flex, frame size all in a well muscled package. This past November we purchased a duroc weanly male from Doherty family that we call Buck Wheat. He is a Buck Cherry son that was sired by Buck Cherry him self before he passed away. This guy has us excited for a red boar and we cant wait to see his pigs hit the ground this summer. We are looking forward to helping you with your showpig needs. Thank you.
First we would like to thank you for taking time to visit our web page. We feel this is the best set of pigs we have ever put on the ground, for the past ten years we have been working on our sow herd to get where we are today. Last year at this time we purchased several replacement gilts from Triple B Sires and they did everything we hoped they would in the farrowing house. This season our litters were sired by Papi Grande (Champion boar at Fall Classic 2011) and two great boars we purchased from Triple b Sires, Double Up and White Lighten. We have focused breeding showpigs that will put you in the winners circle, we feel this set can get you there. We will start selling our February litters on April 21, and all of the March and April litters May 19.
We have 16 litters of spring pigs and we cant wait to see what they will do. All pigs will sell off the farm, give us a call we would love to talk pigs and help you select your next champion.

DOUBLE UP Double Ott x Positive Trac If you are looking for bone this guy has it. He is extremely stout in his bone work. He is very clean fronted and opened up real good through his chest floor and is real square from his shoulder blade to the ground. He goes away from you with great movement while setting his feet down very square. He has good rib shape and great center body dimension. We feel you can breed this guy to just about anything and watch his offspring put you in the winners circle. |

WHITE LIGHTNING Full Throttle x Intimidator This white colored boar has us excited. We feel he will make his offspring hard to get around. He is stout in his bone work and extremely loose and flexible in his movement. He is very square made on his feet and legs. He will put the power in them without loosing the great movement. |

He will make the changes to the red bred that will move us in the right direction.He is big boned,big hipped,level,and heavy muscled boar that will make changes in the right direction. This guy can get out and move all day long.This rascal has us excited and we are hoping for big this from Buck Wheat. |
